Since 1991, Ware has been CEO and president of Lazarus PropertyCorp. His distinguished career spans all facets of commercial realestate. As head of Lazarus, he has led the company to a dominantplayer in office redevelopment, high-rise residential and retaildevelopment. He is credited with the conversion of a former Kmartand Incredible Universe stores into viable call center propertiesand entertainment facilities and the conversion of the PrestonwoodTown Center into a mixed-use development. Ware has headed upLazarus since 1991.

At HQ Global Workplace, also a Dallas company, Thomas A. Carrollhas been named vice president of real estate. He will overseerenovations and new center development for the office solutionsprovider. Carroll had been senior vice president of real estate forZale Corp., where he oversaw an average of more than 230 projectsannually.

CEO Gary Kusin says Carroll will be leading the way "to developand revitalize a number of our centers using our 2001 prototype."The latest plan revolves around a high-tech design so clients andemployees can "work whenever, wherever and however they choose,"says Kusin.
