Some membersinitially expressed a strong preference for the Airport Hill sitein Warrenton because of its views, but it is outside Warrenton'sUrban Growth Boundary, making it an unlikely candidate for successdue to a lack of zoning and infrastructure. Still, other memberssay the downtown location will make acquiring the land moreexpensive, and leaves the possibility that there could be no roomin adjacent buildings of future expansion. The board has set aSept. 30 deadline for acquiring state funding for capitalassistance and property acquisition for the main campus.
