A spokesman for the Eastland Town Center developer, EastlandCenter Associates, says that initial work should be completed inthe next 60 days, with construction to follow. The store isscheduled to open next summer. Costco will open its first locationin the Midtown Marketplace at Main Street and Linwood Blvd. Jan.12.
Eastland Town Center, at the intersection of Interstate 70 andUS Highway 40, is being built on 200 acres, which was formerly theCrackerneck Golf Course. Other tenants will include Lowe's HomeImprovement Warehouse, Panera Bread, International House ofPancakes, Wendy's and McDonald's.
