Price Entities and the San Diego Redevelopment Agency plan tobuild theproject that will include 116 affordable townhomes, aparkinggarage and office and retail space. The project is thelatest additionto Urban Village, a 6-year-old, $100 millionredevelopment project torestore blighted innercityneighborhoods.

City leaders recently approved demolition at the site, which isbounded byUniversity and Fairmount avenues and 43rd and Wightmanstreets. Price hopesto finish the project by summer 2002.
