RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, MI-Parker Hannifin Corp.’s Pneumatic Division plant is expanding here by 50,000-sf, and the company is building a 30,000-sf administration building on the same site. The township has offered the company a 50% real property tax abatement for 12 years and a six-year personal property abatement, equaling a combined value of about $1.3 million for the facility.

The state has also given the company an incentive package that abates the 6-mill state education tax for 12 years ($477,900) and other tax credits that equal $1.45 million over seven years.The company says it plans to add 80 jobs after construction is complete. The company makes pneumatic valves, air preparation units and accessories for the industrial and transportation markets.
