GlobeSt.com has tracked the progress of this group since theirfirst meeting on May 10th and has now learned in an exclusiveinterview with the group's president and vice president that theNYSCAR chapter is up and running. "I have been on the NYSCAR boardof directors through an established chapter for several years andthey were always after me to start up a New York City group," LewisB. Kaye, CEO of LB Kaye International Realty Commercial ServiceInc. and president of the new chapter, tells GlobeSt.com.

However, now that the group is out there several people arewondering what the benefit will be to joining. "This chapter willgive local commercial brokers a statewide group of other realestate professionals to network with," Kaye answers. "Business aswe know it isn't going to change, but it will give local brokers achance to interact and do business on a much larger scale."

The new chapter covers the five boroughs and has 25 existingmembers. Now that the group has been officially accepted, chaptervice president and MLBKaye International Realty president MarilynHarra Kaye is looking forward to recruiting new members."NYSCAR has300 members, and we had to get a quorum before we could recruit newpeople," states Marilyn Harra Kaye. "Now that we have been voted inwe will be recognized throughout the state and the country."
