Arvida Picks RealtyRates for Financial Data

CLEARWATER, FL-Florida's largest independent real estate brokerage has signed a strategic alliance with the Bradenton, FL-based research house to provide online commercial property mortgage and investment market data. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

CLEARWATER, FL-Arvida Realty Services Inc., Florida’s largest independent real estate brokerage, has signed a strategic alliance with Bradenton, FL-based RealtyRates.com for online commercial property mortgage and investment market data. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. Clearwater is 80 miles west of Downtown Orlando.

Clearwater, FL-based Arvida selected RealtyRates from a host of emerging online commercial real estate data services competing in a limited market. Arvida’s gross 2000 sales totaled $8.2 billion.

“The alliance reflects the growing need among commercial real estate firms for timely mortgage information and market-based analytics,” RealtyRates president Robert Watts says in a prepared statement.

RealtyRates will provide a private labeled form of its quarterly investor survey results accessible only to Arvia personnel via the company’s private internet.

Arvida is the brokerage division of Jacksonville, FL-based St. Joe Co., Florida’s largest property owner. Arvida has 105 state offices, 3,500 licensed professionals and 765 employees affiliated with the company.

The firm participates in commercial and residential sales, relocation services, asset and property management, title insurance and mortgage services, annual and seasonal rentals, resort management and international real estate marketing.
