Ro Sipek has joined Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co. as propertymanager for the industrial division in Austin. And, Martin Down iscoming on board as a vice president with the San Antonio team forChicago-based Transwestern Commercial Services.

Sipek, who has more than nine years' experience in property andfacility management, worked at Trammell Crow Global Services inAustin before joining Trammell Crow Co. She also was facilitymanager for Bank One, where she was responsible for 38 propertiestotaling more than 500,000 sf.

Down, who's worked in San Antonio real estate for about 20years, will be involved in Transwestern's leasing projects as wellas in acquiring and disposing of land and office buildings. Beforejoining Transwestern, Down was a principal at Apollo CommercialRealty Inc., where he specialized in development, tenantrepresentation and acquisition and disposition. He also had been avice president in Trammell Crow Co.'s San Antonio office, where herepresented tenants and worked in development.
