Seattle-based KremeWorks LLC, run by Gerard Centioli, will ownthe store. Some 30 locations are planned in Washington, Oregon,Alaska, Hawaii and British Columbia in the next six years. Thefranchises are normally 4,000-sf, stand-alone buildings with adrive-thru.

Krispy Kreme was founded in 1937. It operates 182 stores in 29states. The company went public at around $29 per share and wastrading in the $90s before a two-for-one stock split in June. Inafter noon trading Monday, shares were trading for $30.74, about inthe middle of its adjusted 52-week range.
