ST. PAUL-Short Elliott Hendrickson has hired John Flora as its business development manager for its St. Paul office.

Flora is coming from the City of Fridley, where he was public works director and city engineer. He worked for 20 years with the city and completed a number of public improvement projects for the municipality.

Flora will be the firm’s community coordinator, focusing on the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities. Short Elliott Hendrickson is a consulting firm that offers architectural, engineering, environmental and transportation services in the upper Midwest and Mountain regions. The St. Paul-based firm has offices in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Montana South Dakota and Wisconsin.
