US Airways will give some workers the option of relocating tocall centers in Dayton, Ohio; Indianapolis, Orlando, Pittsburgh,Syracuse, N.Y., or Winston-Salem, N.C., according to companyofficials.
Following the failure of a merger with United Airlines, USAirways is looking to cut costs and has unveiled a strategic planaimed at salvaging the company. Among the steps are cutting payrollcosts and boosting short-run regional flights.
