The development will straddle 12th Street, with a three-storyarchway over the road. A 151-unit, 12-story tower will be locatedon the 12th Street side. From the fourth floor and above, thecomplex will rise over the roadway for nine floors. On the otherside of the street, this tower will join a four-story, 142-unitapartment building designed to resemble a block of row houses. Twolevels of underground parking will service both buildings.

Christopher Guidi of Clark Realty says the design of thedevelopment was a collaborative effort. "After dozens of meetingswith multiple citizen and business groups, we arrived at a design,which adds to the eclectic feel of Downtown Clarendon," Guidi says.He added that the townhouse element blends with the neighborhood,known as Lyon Village.

Martha Moore, a former president of the Lyon Village CivicAssociation, says the proposed development has "excellentarchitecture, which is one of our main goals. In addition, it hasthe elements that will help make a good transition into ourneighborhood."
