DALLAS-The Real Estate Council for Dallas-Ft. Worth has canceled tomorrow’s meeting in the wake of the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, DC, which have grounded airports in the US and Canada. The panel, featuring four high-profile speakers, will be rescheduled.

The speakers were booked for flights today from their corporate headquarters to Dallas. The panel included Casey Wold, TrizecHahn president; Terry Considine, AIMCO, chairman and CEO; David Jacobstein, Developers Diversified Realty, president and COO; and John Seiple, ProLogis managing director and COO. The speakers were traveling from Canada, Colorado, Ohio and Illinois.

A Real Estate Council contact says that the DFW organization will seek ways “to render aid in the coming days, weeks and months” as the nation gains its footing again in the aftermath of the tragedies.
