Waste Management's North America operation includes 284 activelandfill disposal sites, 16 waste-to-energy plants, 73 landfillgas-to-energy facilities, 160 recycling plants, 293 transferstations and more than 1,400 collection facilities. It has about 25million residential and two million commercial customersnationwide.

In an unrelated industrial sale, Visionary Community Church haspurchased an 18,000-sf warehouse-distribution center from theestate of Charles A. Hartwell. The holding is situated at 11851Ormandy in Houston. Chris Caudill of Grubb & Ellis Co.'sHouston office represented the seller. Victor Burks with BuyerFirst Realty acted on the buyer's behalf.
