The letting covers 352,702 sf of offices at £54 ($79) per sf and22,722 sf of basement storage space at £15 ($22) per sf. The dealsmeans British land can star construction immediately withcompletion of the building due in the first half of 2004.

Accenture has been looking to consolidate its London operationsunder one roof and several of its existing leases expire in 2004.Accenture Director Willie Jamieson said 'Accenture is delighted tosecure highly efficient, cost effective and flexible space in apreferred location which will meet our consolidated space needs in2004 and allow for future growth of the business.'

And British Land Chairman John Ritblat said the letting was ahealthy indicator for the current City of London office market.
