Centennial revealed its interest in locating at the developmentwith its first non-stand alone location by describing GreshamStation as "a fast growing suburban and retail hub…easilyconvenient to nearby retail, restaurants, office space, housing andthe Metropolitan Area Xpress Transit (MAX) line." The new branch isexpected to open in December.

Ted Winnowski, Centennial's president and chief executiveoffice, says this is the bank's sixteenth office throughout thegreater Portland area, which also includes seven offices inPortland retirement centers. Gresham Station is the first phase ofGresham Civic Neighborhood Plan. The project is complemented by twolight rail stations, one on the edge of the project and one in itsheart.

More than 90% of the project's retail is spoken for along withabout two-thirds of the 20,000 sf of office space. Already open inthe retail space are Gap, Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond andBorders Books. Another building nearing completion will house RedRobin, Dress Barn, Men's Warehouse, Kay-Bee Toys and Honey BakedHam. As well, a lease with Portland Teachers Credit Union is beingnegotiated.
