IRVINE, CA-IndyMac Bank, one of the nation’s largest technology-based mortgage bankers, has signed a $1-million deal for an additional 15,000 sf here at the Irvine Spectrum.

The deal raises IndyMac’s occupancy in the sprawling project to 60,000 sf. The Irvine Co., which owns the Spectrum, was represented in-house.

IndyMac was represented by Todd Doney and Kevin Bender of Insignia/ESG. The lender has become one of Insignia’s steady clients: Last year, the brokerage firm represented IndyMac in the banker’s 10-year, $40-million lease for 141,000 sf of office space at Pasadena Corporate Park in the San Gabriel Valley.
