GlobeSt.com couldn't reach Ransom for comment but brokersfamiliar with the project tell GlobeSt.com the developer is tryingto revise conceptual plans but has no timetable for bringing itback to the ARC for a new review.
The development plans 810,000 sf of commercial and retail inPaulding county. In Cobb county, the mix would entail 150,000 sf ofretail; 27,600 sf of office; and 300 residences. Paulding electedofficials approved the project; Cobb officials rejected theplan.
The ARC gave the venture a low score on air quality but creditedthe project for having adequate sidewalks and a variety of realestate product.
