WSNet sends programming to clients through a digital satelliteplatform. The company says it has 750,000 subscribers inapartments, nursing homes, college dormitories and small and ruralcable companies in the United States.

"The additional capital demonstrates our investor's continuedbelief in the WSNet business plan and allows us too furtherreinforce our position in this specialized cable market," StuartLefkowitz, the company's chief operating officer, said in aprepared statement.

WSNet received $52 million in funding in early 2000 from a NewYork-based firm, which it has not identified, and MotorolaCorp.
