The company has already moved to the new site in Santa Ana,which now houses its headquarters. Gieling consolidated locationsin Fountain Valley, Garden Grove and Santa Ana into its newbuilding, which stands at 515 E. Dyer Rd. The facility givesGieling the space it needs for its growing operations, whichinclude air and ground transportation, warehousing and distributionand messenger and courier services.

Gieling was represented by Denny Pender of Nathan Howard GroupInc. and Commercial Real Estate Firm. Brian Ward of Grubb &Ellis' Newport Beach office spoke for the landlord, CabotIndustrial.

The overall vacancy rate for Santa Ana industrial property stoodat 4.9% at the end of the third quarter, according to a recentreport by Cushman & Wakefield. In addition, the industrialsector here has experienced a positive net absorption of 84,645 sfduring the first nine months of 2001, the report says.
