Sembler Co. of Clearwater, FL, and Noro Broadview Holding Co. ofthe Netherlands plan a 2003 ground-breaking for a $120 millionredevelopment of the 379,230-sf Lindbergh Plaza, which NoroBroadview owns.

The existing shopping center will be razed and 700,000 sf of newretail will be built along with 250 apartment units on the 27-acresite at Piedmont Road and Sydney Marcus Boulevard. Completion istentatively scheduled for 2005.

Atlanta city officials haven't yet approved the redevelopmentplan. The new Lindbergh Plaza will have almost twice the retailspace at the existing center, enough to rival many malls.
