Handel tells GlobeSt.com that the building owner controls about200,000 sf in the aggregate 500,000-sf park. The park is amaster-planned industrial site near Interstate 10 and Loop 610 inthe city's near northwest submarket. The advertised lease rates forWestport Industrial Park range from 90 cents per sf to $1.10 persf, says Handel. Most of the buildings in Westport were constructedin the early 1980s.
