The new 27,500-sf store will have 140employees, and will also offer a music department with more than25,000 compact discs, video and DVD titles, and provide listeningstations for customers to preview selected recordings. The storewill also feature a Barnes &Noble Cafe, a classic bistro thatserves Starbucks coffee, the teas of The Republic of Tea, colddrinks and a sandwiches and desserts. The new bookstore willcarry achildren's section.
The New York-based retailer has 569 Barnes & Noble and 331B. Dalton bookstores, while Indianapolis-based Simon Property Groupowns and operates 797,000-sfMiller Hill Mall, the largest inDuluth.
