After recently leasing approximately 25,000 sf to Gold's Gym ofMilford, the additional leases will leave Fafard with no vacanciesin the Granite Shopping Center. In addition to the retail space,Damian Kokenen of Fafard tells Globest.com the nearby 83,273-sfbuilding that formerly housed the Holmes Air Purifier Co. hasrecently been leased to S&M Moving Systems Inc., taking thatbuilding off the market.

The Holmes building had been vacant for six months when S&Mtook the location over. Kokenen tells Globest.com that the onlyavailable space Fafard has in the area is an eight-acre site inAshland located next to a Shaw's Supermarket Plaza that is ownedand managed by Fafard. He says that Fafard is not looking todevelop that site but is instead interested in finding a buyer forthe property. According to a source close to Fafard, the company isasking $3.2 million for the site and is willing to break it up intoone-acre parcels.
