Logistics Firm OKs Five-Year Deal Valued at $410,000

TEMPE, AZ-Hot Shot Services Inc. has signed a five-year lease, valued at roughly $410,000, for its logistics operation. The division will move in February 2002 to 15,723 sf of industrial space at 1715 S. Holbrook Lane in Tempe.

HSS Logistics’ relocation from the RREEF-owned Twins in Tempe signals a space doubling, Mark Detmer, vice president of Trammell Crow Co. in Phoenix, tells GlobeSt.com. The new lease takes the AMB Properties Corp., a San Francisco REIT, holding to full occupancy.

The S. Holbrook Lane building is one of two, totaling 140,000 sf, built in the early to mid-1980s. HSS Logistics will move into an 88,784-sf structure positioned in a submarket tailored to manufacturing and distribution space. The building is located about a half mile from the intersection of Loop 101 and Broadway Road in the city’s eastern tier.

The Trammell Crow negotiating team consisted of Detmer, vice president Bo Mills and associate Darryl Scott. The team represented the building owner.
