The scheme will include bars, a night club, restaurant, casinoand an 86-bedroom hotel. It will be named Whitakers Quarter afterthe Whitakers brewery which stood on the site from 1758 until 1928.The scheme is located in the West End of the city which has latelybecome the focal point of the leisure market.

For years Bradford has lackedquality offers to compete with other nearby centres and these threemajor developments will provide the type of modern high qualityfacility that is demanded by an increasingly sophisticatedaudience.'

Work is scheduled to start on site early in the Spring of2002.
