Julien J. Studley Seals Two Irvine Lease Deals

IRVINE, CA-Julien J. Studley Inc. has sewed up two transactions in Irvine worth more than $2 million combined. In both deals, the commercial real estate services firm acted on behalf of California-based technology companies.

In the first deal, BCC Technologies Inc. renewed a lease to remain in its 11,488-sf corporate headquarters at 15331 Barranca Parkway. The manufacturer of computer storage solutions has inked a five-year agreement, which was brokered by Shane Wilder of Studley’s Orange County and Bill Budge of William A. Budge Inc. Wilder spoke on behalf of BCC Technologies, while Budge represented the landlord, Northwest Mutual Life Insurance.

The second transaction involved BlueKite, a San Francisco-based software company. The firm has subleased 14,216 sf of its R&D facility to Norstar Communications. According to the terms of the agreement, Norstar will occupy the building for four years. The facility stands at 18200 Von Karman Ave. BlueKite was represented by Royce Sharf and Scott Granger of Studley’s Orange County office. Jack McNuff of Grubb & Ellis acted on behalf of Norstar.
