ROSEVILLE, CA-A Roseville mortgage company has subleased a quarter of Prima Communications’ headquarters space in the Lava Ridge Business Center.

American Pacific Mortgage Corp. has subleased about 15,000-sf of office space, which it plans to use as it main branch and headquarters. The firm will take over about 25% of Prima Communications’ space in the building at Eureka and Douglas Boulevards.

Prima, a publishing company, will keep an additional quarter of space in the 69,000-sf building, and sublease the rest out. Craig Brinitzer of Cornish & Carey Commercial represented American Pacific, while Mark Hefner and Chris Strain with Brown, Stevens, Elmore & Sparre represented Random House, who owns Prima.

The rental rate was not revealed but rents in the area average about $1.75-$2.25, according to recent market reports.
