TRENTON, NJ – Advance Realty Group, based in Bedminster, NJ, recently teamed up with officials from the State of New Jersey, Mercer County and this capital city to break ground for a 930-car parking garage. The new facility will be used by the state for its parking requirements for Riverview Executive Park, and by the county for Trenton Thunder minor league baseball games and special events.
Beyond that, the new facility also heralds the start of a waterfront redevelopment plan being implemented by Advance. The project, expected to cost upwards of $100 million, will include 400,000 sf of office and retail space, a twin to the parking garage currently under way, and 200 multifamily residential units. The Hillier Group, Princeton, is doing the planning for the project.

Lundahl, SVP and regional manager for Advance. The company currently owns three building on the waterfront, totaling 230,000 sf.
“This structure is part of the infrastructure that will encourage future economic growth in the area,” concludes Robert D. Prunetti, chief executive for the Mercer County government.
