LAS VEGAS-Developers are building five centers in this metro area with a total about 3.5 million sf. All of the developments are anchored by national retail tenants.

A report by Grubb & Ellis lists these developments underway:

* The 1.1-million-sf Boca Park by Triple 5, which is anchored by a Target, Vons and Great Indoors.

* The 900,00-sf ‘super regional’ Centennial Center by Territory Inc, which is anchored by a Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club.

* The 700,000-sf Center Pointe by the Rouse Co. is anchored by a Costco.

* The 500,000-sf SunMark Plaza by Laurich Properties Inc. is anchored by a Costco and Best Buy.

* The 350,000-sf Warm Springs Promenade by Kimco Realty is anchored by a Sears, Roebuck & Co.

Leasing in many of the centers is still quite active, despite the recent downturn in the economy, Grubb & Ellis says.
