CHICAGO-Lease deals involving 480,000 sf and totaling more than $350 million did more than earn revenue for Staubach Co. The team of Steve Stratton, Rob Schmidt and Mike Sessa also have earned the Chicago Chapter of The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties’ “Downtown Transaction of the Year” award.

The award stems from an assignment from The Northern Trust Co., which in addition to owning the 500,000-sf 50 S. LaSalle St., also had leases on space at adjoining 10 S. LaSalle St. and 181 W. Madison St. Northern Trust was leasing the space from two different landlords.

The Staubach team repositioned the leases at each building to create parallel expansion and contraction options through 2020.

Stratton and Schmidt are managing principals while Sessa is a principal.
