Previously, he spent three years in acquisitions at HartmanManagement, where he bought office warehouses and shopping centers.After working with Hartman Management, Maroney spent one year atHerb Shapiro and Associates, where he closed several shoppingcenter deals.

At Henry S. Miller, Maroney will work with Shawn Ackerman in theretail division handling investment sales and retail leasing.Maroney believes development is still alive in the current retailmarket.

"It looks like it is going to be a bright 2002," he says, butwarns that not enough indicators have been read to truly access thefuture of the retail market. "We just really don't know for sureyet," says Maroney of the retail market.
