Strutt & Parker And Philip Ingman Launch New Financial Services Venture

LONDON- Property consultant Strutt & Parker and Philip Ingman, previously Managing Director of Celexa Real Estate Investment Management, have joined forces to form a new consultancy aiming to capture a slice of the burgeoning market in indirect property investment.

The new business will be called Strutt & Parker Real Estate Financial Services, and will concentrate on the formation, launch and management of indirect investment vehicles for UK real estate. This will include advice in valuing and dealing in limited partnership shares, as partners in established funds look to sell or dilute their holdings.

David Cripps, Head of the Commercial Division of Strutt & Parker said: ‘Growing demand from our existing client base as well as the opportunities that are developing in this financial landscape mean that the scope for this service is untapped. Importantly, this service will complement our traditional advisory role.’

And Philip Ingman said that, in addition to the existing institutional and property company investors, indirect vehicles are attracting growing interest from provate property investors. ‘While we will be advising institutions on indirect holdings, a new growth area of the market is among private investors who see UK property as a safe haven,’ he said.
