The new business will be called Strutt & Parker Real EstateFinancial Services, and will concentrate on the formation, launchand management of indirect investment vehicles for UK real estate.This will include advice in valuing and dealing in limitedpartnership shares, as partners in established funds look to sellor dilute their holdings.

David Cripps, Head of the Commercial Division of Strutt &Parker said: 'Growing demand from our existing client base as wellas the opportunities that are developing in this financiallandscape mean that the scope for this service is untapped.Importantly, this service will complement our traditional advisoryrole.'

And Philip Ingman said that, in addition to the existinginstitutional and property company investors, indirect vehicles areattracting growing interest from provate property investors. 'Whilewe will be advising institutions on indirect holdings, a new growtharea of the market is among private investors who see UK propertyas a safe haven,' he said.
