The Moffett Park Light Rail Station cost approximately $5.7million to build. It is the 19th station on VTA's Downtown MountainView to Interstate Highway 880/Milpitas Light Rail Line. It willserve employees of Ariba, Onizuka Air Force Base, Lockheed MartinMissiles and Space Corp. and the general public.

The new depot is the result of a public and privatecollaboration between VTA and Jay Paul Company. Jay Paul Companyfinanced the construction of the station as part of an adjacentcommercial development, Moffett Park Drive, which is located at801-811 Eleventh Avenue.

From San Jose, trains will run every ten minutes across northSanta Clara and Sunnyvale to Mountain View. Connection points withthe existing San Jose light rail line, the Caltrain route, and theACE trains from Stockton expand its range considerably.
