The initiative, called the 'Heart of Slough' will transform a29-acre site in the centre of Slough, creating a mix of houses,leisure, office and educational space. .
Julian Barwick, Joint Managing Director of DevelopmentSecurities said: 'We will provide Slough with a new heartencompassing community, residential, infrastructure andcommercial/leisure components of the highest quality. We arelooking forward to working with the council team to further developthose ideas.' .
Further public consultation will start once the additional workis completed and the final contract is awarded. The final design islikely to be the subject of an international architectural designcompetition.
