The complex stands on a 5-acre parcel at the intersection ofBirch Avenue and Mesa Drive. The $21-million property consists oftwo separate, three-story office buildings. Each one has been builton top of one level of parking.

McCarthy, which occupies 22,000 sf in the complex, alsoconducted 190,000 sf of site improvements at the site, including aterraced, landscaped plaza area with stamped concrete paving,planters and seating.

The project, which was designed by Watkins, Baile &Associates, was completed within an approximate timeframe of 10months. The buildings have windows made of blue glass and aluminumframes. The walls have a smooth concrete finish resembling polishedmarble, which won the complex the Southern California Chapter ofthe American Concrete Institute's 2001 Excellence in ConcreteAward.
