BROWARD COUNTY, FL-Michael A. and Candace Carlow have sold 12.6 acres known as the Rancho Mirage Ranch at 14001 Stirling Road to AF Management of South Florida for $1.64 million, or $130,158 per acre, or $2.98 per sf, according to Integra Realty Resources, AREEA/South Florida, a Miami real estate research organization.

The ranch has quadrupled in value during the last 27 years. It sold for $410,000 in 1974, $600,000 in 1984 and $1.18 million in 1999. It was foreclosed in 1998. Homes and other buildings totaling 9,356 sf that had been built on the land have been removed.

Stirling Road is located south of Fort Lauderdale, approximately 25 miles north of Miami. AF Management of South Florida is based in Miami Lakes and headed by Alex Fernandez, president.
