The $28 million property, acquired by Imerman's King DavidKosher Inc., will be based in Macon, 90 miles southeast of DowntownAtlanta. The Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority gave thecompany $100,000 tax abatements over seven years for new equipmentpurchases, according to a published report. Cagle's is funding anundisclosed portion of the purchase price.

The site is in Macon's 500-acre Downtown Industrial District,part of the Brownfields Redevelopment Areas.
