North Suburbs See Industrial Leases, Sale

WHEELING, IL-Hospital supply firm Borrows Co. has expanded operations in this north suburb of Chicago, leasing 64,156 sf at 301 Holbrook. Location near the Tri-State Tollway and O’Hare International Airport were factors in the lease decision, brokers for Paine/Wetzel ONCOR International indicate.

Meanwhile, nearby Northbrook has seen industrial sales and leasing activity.

Business-to-business data management company Omeda Communications has leased 22,000 sf at 720 Landwehr Rd.in the north suburb with HSA Commercial Real Estate executive vice president/managing director Tim Thompson, SIOR, representing the company.

Also, Petra Presbyterian Church bought a 53,482-sf building on 3.73 acres at 3005 MacArthur, a location with nearby access to Interstates 294 and 94, for its offices. The church paid CV Land Management LLC $2.23 million for the property, buying it with a $1.4-million loan from Edens Bank. Paine/Wetzel · ONCOR International principals Patricia G. Baldwin, SIOR and Whit R. Heitman represented the church while vice president William T. Perkowitz represented the seller.
