300,000 SF Leased in North Suburban Deals

GREEN OAKS, IL-Three leases deals have been closed at a business park in this far north suburb, taking more than 250,000 sf off the industrial market. Minneapolis, MN-based paint manufacturer Valspar Corp. renewed a 140,806-sf lease on its distribution center at 13825 W. Business Center Dr., the largest of the deals.

In addition, building-materials manufacturer ITW Paslode extended its 57,176-sf lease at 13825 West Business Center Dr. while contract packaging firm Sigma Services, Inc. signed a new lease for 54,107 sf at 13820 W. Business Center Dr., making a move from nearby Mundelein.

NAI Hiffman vice president C.L. Botthof, Jr. represented Bradley Road LLC, owner of the two buildings, in the lease deals. Trammell Crow Co. vice president Rick Delisle represented Sigma in its deal.

Botthof also was involved in two other deals in neighboring suburbs. He represented computer company Visiontek in a 30,000-sf sublease of space at 801 Technology Way in Libertyville and building owner, J. Emil Anderson in a 22,521-sf lease deal with Maytag distributor Mac Gray Corp. for space at 880 Lakeside Dr. in Gurnee.
