The Mine Shaft Family Fun Center consists of a three-storyarcade building, 36-hole miniature golfing course and batting cage.Located off Highway 50 in Rancho Cordova, the property has nearly amile of Highway 50 frontage, which Willis believes will bebeneficial to the attraction.
The entertainment center had been closed for nearly two yearsbefore Willis acquired the property. In addition to renovations,Willis plans to add a go-cart track to the center. And, if he cansecure approvals, he hopes to develop several car, boat andrecreational vehicle dealerships along the property.
Herb Grabell of Grubb & Ellis represented both Willis andthe seller, a private lender who foreclosed on the site two yearsago. Willis hopes to have the center up and running by nextyear.
