"Advance required class A, built space in close proximity to itsheadquarters at Four Times Square," says Kevin Poppe, a VP at JonesLang LaSalle, which represented building owner New York LifeInsurance Co. Senior VP Alex Gilbert and leasing specialist DavidKleiner rounded out the JLL team while Newmark & Co. RealEstate Inc. vice chairman and CEO Barry Gosin and managing directorJohn Lizzul, spoke the tenant's part in the talks. The lease,effective immediately, encompasses two full floors of the nearlyfull building, according to Poppe.

But specific terms and ultimate use vary depending on whom youtalk to. While Gosin says it's a two-year deal for space committedto "new operations," Poppe says it's an 18-month agreement and thespace will be used for "general office space related to theday-to-day operations of several publications." Calls to Advancewere not returned by press time.

Other tenants at 1180 Ave. of the Americas include the ScrippsHoward Broadcasting Co., Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NewJersey and Rockefeller Group Business Centers Inc.
