Jeff Turek of The Klabin Co., who represented Uniwell along withpartner Todd Taugner, tells GlobeSt.com that Uniwell is a $1billion company based in Jakarta, Indonesia, that is in the processof moving into the new space. He says the tile importer willrelocate its local operations to the new from Torrance, where itwas leasing space.

Uniwell acquired its new building from AMB Property Corp. andMar Ventures, owners of Carson Town Center, a 1 million-sf office,industrial and retail center. The new headquarters is asingle-story, concrete tilt-up structure featuring 2100 sf ofmezzanine office space, dock-high and ground-level loading, and24-foot interior warehouse clearance, plus on-site parking for 40cars.
