New England Development is looking to build a 250,000-sf retailcenter on the site. Bill Cronin of the Newton-based company tellsGlobeSt.com that an order of condition has been filed with thecity's conservation commission and a site plan has been filed withthe city's planning board.

Cronin, who adds that his company has not purchased theproperty, says he is not authorized to disclose any other details,noting that the projects still needs to go through the city'spermitting process.
