The metro area's class-A direct vacancy rate increased to 17.5%from 16.8%, while the class-B vacancy rate climbed to 15.5% from14.5%. In addition, seven of the nine submarkets reported increaseddirect vacancy rates.

The Boulder County and Northwest submarkets both held steady at25.7% and 24.7%, respectively and the CBD posted a slight increaseat 10.2%, up from 10.1%.

The Aurora and Southwest submarkets posted the largest increasesin direct vacancy, with Aurora's rate increasing to 19.7% from17.3% and a spike to 14.7% from 12.4% in the Southwest. Nosubmarkets enjoyed decreased direct vacancy.
