55 Cambridge, a nine-story, 276,000-sf office building, islocated on the Charles River near MIT within the technology richEast Cambridge/Kendall Square business community. Among the othertenants in the building are Lotus Development, Clark Hunt &Embry, and Genzyme Corp., which recently took 61,000 sf of space.Flaherty, who also represented Cabot Cabot & Forbes in theGenzyme transaction, said at the time that Meredith & Grew hada number of leases pending for space in the building, which whenincluding this deal, will nearly lease up the property.
