Kowalski reports directly to Tom Seddon, senior vice president,Americas Brands Strategy, Six Continents Hotels Inc., theAtlanta-based parent of Crowne. Kowalski will be responsible forbrand marketing and business strategies for all Crowneproperties.

At Princess Cruises, the Northwestern University economicsgraduate managed all marketing strategy, advertising and programdevelopment. At locally based Coca-Cola Co., Kowalski managed theSprite, Minute Maid and Barq's root beer brands.

Kowalski also holds a master's degree in business administrationfrom the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at NorthwesternUniversity in Chicago.
