INGLEWOOD, CA-Metro Commercial Realty of Newport Beach, Calif., has acquired a recently completed, 35,490-sf shopping center from Fujita Corporation USA for $5.2 million, according to Voit Commercial Brokerage. The center, located at 230 and 250 N. La Brea Ave., is anchored by a Walgreens drugstore and Buy Low supermarket.

Voit Commercial Brokerage’s Anaheim team consisting of Louis Tomaselli, Mitch Zehner, John Pagliassotti and Jimmy Vames represented both the buyer and the seller.

Fujita was also the developer of the project, which is near the intersection of North La Brea and Florence avenues and in an area that includes a combination of housing and commercial development.

Tomasellij says the buyer acquired the center as a secure, income-producing investment in light of the long-term leases signed by the tenants. Walgreens has inked a 20-year deal for space at the center, and Buy Low has signed a 10-year lease.
