The law firm of Henry P. Vandercam will move into a 3,202-sfoffice in the 21-story building. Occupancy now is in the mid-90%range for the 509,280-sf structure, a 48-year-old building that wasrenovated three years ago. The lease comes within weeks of brokersclosing a 21,571-sf lease with Edge Petroleum Corp. Lead tenantsinclude Reliant Energy Communications, law firm Linebarger, Goggan,Blair, Pena & Sampson and Credit Lyonnais.

Chip Hubbard of Commercial Real Estate Brokerage in Houstonrepresented Henry P. Vandercam in the lease negotiations. BonnieKelley was the in-house representative for the building owner,McCord Development and AEW. According to the Harris CountyAppraisal District, McCord and AEW purchased the building in 1997from RLG Realty Holdings.

In another CBD lease, Dusk Entertainment took 2,000 sf at 915Franklin St., owned by Spire Realty. Kristen Porter with theHouston office of Grubb & Ellis Co. negotiated thetransaction.
