LONDON-Lloyds Pharmacy, advised by FPDSavills, has assigned its leasehold interest in units 39 and 40, Oakhill Trading Estate, Manchester to Compal.

The Taiwanese IT company has agreed to take an assignment of the 25-year lease for the 28,500 sf hi-tech facility, which expires in 2008, at a passing rent of £87,250 pa ($139,914). Stuart Murray, associate at FPDSavills, commented: ‘The assignment represents significant inward investment into Salford and will in turn bring new jobs to the local area’.

Compal was unrepresented.
